Live with no excuses. Love with no regrets

I have over a decade of experience in treating anxiety and trauma.  One of the most successful treatment modalities I've found is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). IEMDR is designated as an effective treatment by the American Psychiatric Association, the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and many other international health agencies.  This powerful psychotherapy approach has helped over an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress. I have been trained in EMDR to treat varying conditions listed bellow as well as received specialized EMDR training for the DeTUR protocol for substance abuse and other treatments of addictions.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches.

What kind of problems can EMDR treat?

Scientific research has established EMDR as effective for post traumatic stress.  However, clinicians also have reported success using EMDR in treatment of the following conditions:

Panic Attacks, Complicated Grief, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Self-Defeating Core Beliefs, Self-Esteem, Self-Worth and Confidence, Dissociative Disorders, Disturbing Memories, Phobia, Pain Disorders, Performance Anxiety, Stress Reduction, Addictions, Sexual and/or Physical Abuse, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and Personality Disorders.
